Digital B2B trading platform TrollyGo has pioneered a new distribution business by directly importing marine food raw materials from overseas and supplying them to Korea’s business-to-business (B2B) food ingredient market. By delivering verified raw materials to domestic food processors and restaurant franchises, TrollyGo has actively leveraged STX’s global supply chain, enhancing its reliability.

The initial shipment arrived in Korea last week, as Peruvian frozen giant squid has been selected as the first item. By operating a hands-on sourcing system in Lima, Peru Office, STX directly oversees local ingredient sourcing to secure reliability, consistent quality, and price competitiveness as well.

Frozen giant squid was listed on TrollyGo, anticipated to facilitate direct transactions with major domestic traders and enhance distribution efficiency. Building on this entry, broader categories including seafood and marine products will be listed continuously.

STX representative said, “Amid heightened price volatility of seafood due to abnormal climate change and declining catches, the core of this business is to leverage our global network to supply verified raw materials to customers, stably.”

Beyond marine products, TrollyGo has steadily closed import and export contracts for various agricultural and marine products — such as domestically produced organic fertilizer and Korean smelt — demonstrating its competitiveness as a trading platform for agri-food, marine, and food ingredient distribution.
